If you’ve reached this page on our site, chances are that you have indicated that you are unemployed or on some sort of pension or Centrelink payment for your income.
Much as we’d love to help you with a loan, the most important requirement to get any kind of credit is being employed and being able to prove to the lenders that you can comfortably make the repayments.
By law, we’re REQUIRED to respect your financial situation, and putting people into loans they can’t afford is a major legal no-no, which harkens back to the dark dirty ages of the 1980s, when plenty of shonky lenders would give every man and their dog a loan, regardless of whether they could actually afford to pay it without being put in a position of financial strain.
These laws were put in place to protect borrowers from predatory lenders, and the industry as a whole has improved significantly due to this smart government decision. We’re very happy to abide by these rules, as we’re not in the loan shark business!
So, while we can’t lend you money at the moment, when your position has improved, please feel free to reach out to us again for assistance when you want to purchase a car, bike, boat, caravan, etc.
As a guideline, getting a loan for a vehicle is going to require you to be employed (full time is ideal, but in some cases we can help those on part time or casual employment), not have too many defaults (preferably none) on your credit file, not currently be bankrupt, and purchasing a vehicle with a minimum price of $5000.
In closing, thanks once again for visiting our site and we’re sorry we can’t help you with a loan at this stage.
However, before leaving, you might like to download a free report we wrote for our customers on how to reduce the interest paid on almost any loan. It shows 3 simple strategies that anyone can understand and use to cut the cost of a loan and/or reduce the time (or “term”) that the loan runs for.
The information in this report will definitely be helpful to you now or in the future, so consider it our gift and way of saying thanks for visiting our site.
